Answers to FAQ

The FAQ was divided into four sections: Orders, Revisions, Refunds, and Websites.
If you have a question that is not here, please feel free in submitting your question here to better serve you.

NOTE: All orders must be paid first before work begins, thank you for your understanding and your trust.

Orders

Your request is reviewed as I gather details for your design during this time by sending you a questionnaire that helps with your logo concept.

2-7 days

On high order months or holiday times can vary on what your place in line will be. But I usually communicate with you after your is order placed. I do have weekends off, if an order is placed on a Friday the weekend is not included in the turnaround time.

Normally, I provide one concept on Portrait Charters logos, any changes you may want we can work from the concept. The Font base logo comes with 2 concepts, more concepts can be provided at an extra fee.

Revisions

Depends on the design and the change request. But I am open to revising until the design is approved. Please keep in mind that making too many revisions can prolong your design for days, depending on how many orders are in my queue.

NOTE:

Please double check your previews, designs, and orders for typos, errors, etc. There will be an additional fee to fix any mistakes after the order is closed.

No. Revisions do not include changes to the original approved concept. If you want a new design, you will have to make a new order.

Refunds

If you decide to cancel your order after the design process has started, no refund will be given, under no circumstances. This includes any add-ons, such as vector files. All digital product sales are final due to the nature of customized, downloadable files and your permanent access to them once they’ve been delivered. See Details >>

I only communicate through email/messages sometimes text to keep everything organized and electronically documented. The only phone conversation that is available is on website orders only.

Web Design

I am capable of designing for the following platforms: Joomla, WordPress, Wix, and Shopify, along with Woocommerce shopping system.

Yes. When I design a website, I normally provide 2 homepage concepts, these concepts is to demonstrate more or less the layout of the site and the colors I will be using. If you require more than two concepts we will have to discuss a possible fee to provide more than two concepts.

It all depends on the type of platform you choose from, and how many pages you plan to have, and if you are looking to have an informational or eCommerce site will determine the cost. Each platform has its standards and some require coding to design the layout. Based on the platform you choose from you will get a fixed quote. But to give you an idea more or less you will be looking at $650 to $1000.

I have two payment systems, for the informational site you are looking at two payment setups of 50%, the first half to start and the second to deliver the final work. For a more elaborated website, we are looking at three payment breakdowns. The first deposit will be to initiate the project, the second payment is when a full demo is presented, the third and final payment is to migrate or deliver the website. Payment must be made first before delivering the final work. No Exceptions.

For a standard 6 page informational website, you are looking at 3-4 weeks. This timeframe is based on communication and replies. For example; if I request some kind of information and the reply takes 3 days, then that will push the development 3 days to resume, and so on.

When beginning the project, I consult first and in this consultation, I fill out a questionnaire to determine what kind of website you will need. but I normally need domain credentials to setup DNS records or access to either your Wix or Shopify dashboard to develop the site and copy/verbiage and photos to use on the site.
